The, all new, TEKAN-II TM is the second generation mechanical that has improved blade retention and is compatible to all arrow types/sizes. Featuring a robust one-piece stainless steel ferrule construction, the Tekan II TM contains no pins or screws and also has a tough 5/8" cut-on-contact tip. In flight, the main blades are held closed and secured with an o-ring. Not only does this o-ring secure the blades in flight, but actually helps “spring” open the .040" thick replaceable blades once the target is hit. The main blades, once deployed, travel rearward down the channel of the ferrule, all in the blink of an eye. The handy washer, also included in the package, prevents and protects your arrow and insert from damage. Bar none this is the mechanical of choice.

Sharpening Tips: When pulling your broadhead, knife etc. through the Sportsman Sharpener, be sure to keep the item parallel to the surface the Sportsman Sharpener is placed upon. Do not tip broadhead or knife up or down.
You only need to pull the item through very lightly to get the best edge, don't use too much pressure.
After using for quite sometime, you may feel the carbide getting dull. Simply mark the crossing point with a pen or pencil. Then, loosen the screws, move the carbide forward on the track. Lastly, tighten the screws down and you are all ready to go with brand new carbide. It's that easy!
